Hi there! This is Akib.

I’m at a pretty exciting juncture in life. I’m a 22-year-old undergraduate student, and my academic journey has led me to Chittagong College, part of the National University of Bangladesh. I’m fully invested in the Department of Statistics, and here’s why: I’ve got big dreams of becoming a successful Data Scientist.

Studying statistics might sound like a real head-scratcher to some, but I find it fascinating. It’s all about understanding numbers, probabilities, and patterns. My college courses have not only challenged me but have also inspired me to believe that data holds the key to solving some of the world’s most complex problems. But, it’s not just about exams and grades for me. My academic journey is my way of gearing up for a future that excites me to no end – a future where I can use data to make smart decisions, find solutions, and innovate.

Now, let’s talk about what I do when I ain’t hitting the books. I wear another hat, a part-time one, at GEE, which is a part of Sunshine Education Group. Here, I do a bit of SMM and am a Graphics Designer.

I love how versatile and adaptable I’ve become, taking on various roles and learning different skills. One of my favourite things is making digital experiences come to life. Designing is not just about aesthetics; it’s about crafting a story and creating something that resonates with people. And I’ve found Canva to be the perfect canvas for that.

But that’s not all. Beyond the classroom and my part-time gig, I’ve taken the plunge into Python. It’s not a snake; it’s a programming language that’s like the secret sauce in Data Science. It’s thrilling to explore machine learning, data analysis, and predictive modelling. I believe that Python is the key to unlocking the treasure chest of insights hidden in datasets, and I can’t wait to see where this journey leads me.
